Overgrown vacant lot poses health hazard to neighbour

June 11, 2019 – A Lindsay, Ont. man is tired of having to mow the grass on a city-owned empty lot near his home, claiming the two-foot-tall grass and dandelions are having a negative impact on his respiratory health. The man’s wife says she is considering withholding her property tax bill unless the city steps in to maintain the property.
